Mornin'! It's 75° in Wildwood NJ. This is it June... until next year, this will be your last weather forecast and you're going out on a "hot" note. It's currently sunny and warm with humidity at 92% and the dew point of 74°. Breezes are out of the SW at 10-12mph. It's going into the 90s today (low-90s) with a heat index of 100°. Expect plenty of hazy sunshine and breezes out of the S-SW at 10-15mph. If heading to the beach today, I'd check out my Friday beach tips (last week's) on the essentials you'll be needing to pack. Tonight... a few passing clouds as temps drop to where they are now... mid-70s with Southerly breezes at 10-15mph. We could see a shower and/or thunderstorm overnight (20% chance). For tomorrow... July's kicking off the month with sunny conditions early in the day, high in the mid-upper 80s and SW winds at 10-20mph. Then, by afternoon thunderstorms are supposed to develop and we could see some heavy rainfall (80-90% chance) and could very well go right into the evening hours. Friday's looking gray and possibly wet. The weekend's looking 50-50 with Sunday (the 4th of July) being the nicer of the two days. As for my sister in Vancouver WA: it's currently 60° and will be going into the 90s today. She made it through quite a nasty, unprecedented heat wave (thankfully). As we bid adieu June, lots of gratefulness for the lovely summer weather you've provided us this year and we look forward to doing the same thing this time next year. Until then, see you on the other side!
