Gray Day With Gale Force Winds

Washington St Mall - Cape May
Mornin'!  It's 52° in Wildwood NJ.  It's misty and breezy with some fog thrown in this early morning.  It's a quiet morning with the wind coming from the S-SW at 15-20mph.  The sound of the ocean's roar is loud and clear 6+ blocks away.  I always say "6+" due to the fact that I'm actually a 6 block walk which takes you to the boardwalk/beach.  Then, once there, the beach is at least another couple blocks wide... thus: "6+".  When the clouds are low and heavy like this morning, the ocean's roar is insulated and very loud and clear.  It almost sounds like a rushing highway full of traffic.  We had rain overnight and everything's soaked and briny.  The fragrance of the sea is strong out there.  It looks as though rain showers will begin and continue through this morning (60% chance).   It'll remain overcast and gloomy into the afternoon with 90% chance of rain throughout the day into the evening.  Today's temps will tap 60°!  Winds will pick up as there's a Gale Warning posted with S-SW winds blowing at 20-30mph +gusting occasionally over 40+mph.  Secure those outdoor decorations! Tonight... windy with continued "gale warnings" posted (Westerly at 20-30mph +gusting) and showers with possible thunderstorms.  Temps will drop into the low-40s.  Tomorrow... Ms Sun's checking back in with a high of 45° and still blustery with winds out of the NW at 15-25mph making it feel in the mid-upper 30s. 10 days until the Winter Solstice!
