New Year's Eve!

Mornin'!  Happy New Years Eve!  This is it 2021... let's just say, there's lots to be grateful for once again. Nothing ominous or bleak in the weather department along the Jersey shore this past year and we can only hope that 2022 is as merciful and generous.  It's 49° in Wildwood NJ.  We're under heavy, thick, cloud cover with patchy fog here and there.  There are no breezes to report.  In fact, it's the first time ever that when I checked the wind direction for my blog post it actually said "0".  There's a 100% humidity though!  It's wet out there and it's not raining.  We're going to have a repeat of yesterday with misty cloud cover throughout the day, fog here and there, temps in the low-mid 50s and light and variable winds.  Tonight... cloudy with occasional rain showers (40% chance), temps where they are now (upper 40s) and Southerly winds at 10-15mph.  Tomorrow... rain (90% chance), temps in the mid-50s, and South winds at 10-15mph.  Sunday... it's the New Moon as we have with more rain in the forecast; a steady rain in fact with stiff breezes and temps in the upper 50s.  Be aware of the high tides and tidal flooding thanks to that invisible Moon!  Monday... starting out wet and by afternoon it will become dry, sunny, very windy and cold (high of 35° feeling like 25°).  Farewell 2021!
