Mornin'! Happy New Year! Welcome 2022! It's 51° in Wildwood NJ. It's foggy and we're under thick cloud cover with hardly a breeze (S-SW at 3-5mph). Everything's dripping wet (humidity's 98%). This fog will turn to rain showers a bit later this morning as steady rain is due in by this afternoon. Temps will rise up a bit to the mid-50s. Winds will be out of the South at 5-10mph. Tonight... cloudy with rain developing after midnight as temps stay around the mid-50s. Winds will begin to ramp up out of the SW at 15-25mph. Tomorrow... rain early with overcast skies for most of the day. Temps will rise into the upper 50s with W-SW winds at 10-20mph. Tomorrow night... everything changes as winter weather arrives as we could see snow flurries while temps drop into the low 30s and the cloud cover stays checked in. Monday will be cold with a high of 33° and winds-a-whippin' out of the North at 15-25mph making it feel like the low-20s. Ms Sun finally returns later in the afternoon. Not only is it the New Year but it's the New Moon which creates much higher than normal tides. Keep in mind we could see some tidal flooding in low-lying areas due to these steady rains on the forecast today.
