Saying "Adios" to January

Boardwalk Webcam This Morning
Mornin'!  It's 25° in snowy Wildwood NJ.  It's currently clear and starlit with that new moon (barely visible) up in the dark morning sky.  Breezes are light out of the North at 3-5mph.  There's good news and bads news up ahead.  The good news is these clear skies (even becoming partly sunny today) will help with the meltdown as the temps will be in the mid-upper 30s and NE winds at 10-15mph.  Tonight... partly cloudy, low of 29° and NE winds at 10-15mph.  Tomorrow... intervals of clouds and sunshine with a high of 41° helping with more meltdown and NE winds at 10-15mph.  Even with current 13+ inches of the white stuff blanketing our island, there's already meltdown happening and will continue for quite awhile. I haven't seen this many icicles in a long time.  The bad news is another storm system is heading our way late Wednesday into Thursday.  This storm (named Landon) will be bringing snow, sleet, ice and rain to the mid-Atlantic providing another layer of all sorts of weather precipitation to Kenan's distribution.  Flooding is a very serious threat as southerly winds could change any of this upcoming precipitation to rain.  Heavy rain.  I'll be keeping a close eye on this first storm of February.  For now... is "Se la vie" to January who certainly had its way with us this new year.  Don't let the door hit you in the ass!
