Calm Before The Storm - Blizzard Warnings Posted

Mornin'!  It's 31° in Wildwood NJ.  No breezes or winds. It's partially clear with the waning crescent moon in the sky.  Ms Sun's due in this morning.  But expect lots of cloud cover filtering in today with temps in the mid-upper 30s.  N-NE winds are coming beginning later at around 10-15mph.  Tonight... the fun begins.  There's a "Blizzard Warning" now posted beginning tonight until early Sunday morning.  It's looking like we're in the path of Winter Storm Kenan and will begin feeling its effects tonight.  It'll commence tonight with thick cloud cover and very windy conditions... N-NE at 25-35mph +gusting.  Temps will drop into the low-20s (with an incredibly nasty windchill).  Snow (heavy and blasting sideways) will also begin tonight and dump anywhere from 6-10" and continue into Saturday.  Tomorrow... 27° with blizzard conditions continuing and another 5-7" of snow due in with those intense Blizzard winds continuing out of the NW at 25-35mph +gusting of up to 50mph. Saturday night... gradually becoming peaceful and quiet with the skies beginning to clear as this Mr. Kenan heads to New England.  It's still going to be extremely windy and cold.  Windchill: -2.  Sunday... sunny, high near 32° with NW winds at 10-20mph +gusting.  It seems that this snow will be light and fluffy unlike Frida (1/3/22) which dumped 11.5" and was wet and heavy as hell and very hard to shovel.  I'm sure the snow drifts that Kenan produces are going to be challenging but easier to maneuver (hopefully). Here's a good thing to note... all forecasters are reporting that tidal flooding will be limited and not significant.  I'll be adding anything throughout the day if needed regarding Ol' Kenan but for now, we're about to have a Coastal Blizzard with potentially close to 2' of snow and damaging winds.  I'm as prepared as I can be.  I've got batteries, a battery operated charging station that's charged, candles, outside stuff secured, coolers are on the porch, ice is being made, vittles are in, got plenty of water and beer, I've got a good book and if we still have electric on Sunday... some good football to watch.  Good luck to y'all out there facing Kenan's arrival.  As my hubby's been saying, "If it ain't 20", it ain't nothin'"!

"If it "ain't 20, it ain't nothing". Where was your
husband raised - Siberia? Wicked sense of humor!
Hoping you get 'nothing' (or less).
