A Hump Day Mix Of Clouds, Fog, Mist, Rain

Mornin'!  It's 49° in Wildwood NJ.  We're once again under cloud cover with breezes out of the NW at 2-4mph.  It's a calm, quiet, still a bit dark morning with the sounds of waves crashing sounding clear and loud as if just down the next block thanks to those thick clouds.  I'm a 10 minute walk to the beach though.  It'll be a cloudy morning with showers commencing this afternoon (50% chance).  Temps will be in the low-mid 50s with N-NW winds at 5-10mph. Tonight... cloudy with periods of rain, temps in the upper 40s and winds light and variable out of the E-NE.  The chance of rain is 100% around 10-11pm (pack an umbrella).  Tomorrow... more clouds, 30% chance of rain mostly in the early part of the day with a high of 53° with E-NE winds at 5-10mph.  Friday looks like we may see peeks of sun in the earlier part of the day but for the most part will be just cloudy.  No rain on the weather menu for New Years Eve.  However, Saturday and Sunday look to be kicking off the New Year with rain.  We certainly have been getting that gray, wet "Vancouver, Washington" kind of weather as of late!  Oh, I forgot to mention that Sunday will be the New Moon and if there's that steady rain they're forecasting, we'll no doubt see some tidal flooding on the island for the weekend (along with unseasonable warmish temps).  I also took a peek into Monday's weather and the temps are going to become much more seasonable... cold, blustery and wintry weather kicking off the first week of 2022!
