Happy Birthday To My Son

Mornin'!  It's 51° in Wildwood NJ.  A very Happy Birthday to my son today!  This one's for you!  And, as you arrive at your birthday celebration/vacation destination in Florida today, it'll be sunny and a high of 75°.   It's partly to mostly cloudy here right now with breezes out of the S-SW at 10-15mph as Ms Sun's painting the sky with her corals and golds.  It's actually mild and still feels like Fall when stepping outside this morning.  There's nothing like 50° days in December.  In fact, we could tap 60° today!   I checked some December Stats this morning and the average "cold" temperature for Wildwood is 32°; the average high "warm" is 48°.  The average snowfall for December here is 2.4".  A couple more December facts... the New Moon is Saturday which means it's directly between the earth and sun and is completely shadowed.  It's also the beginning of a new lunar cycle.  By mid-month (Dec 13 + 14) there's a Geminid meteor shower and believe it or not, 150 meteors (falling stars) an hour could be seen in the pre-dawn sky (after 3am).  Mark your calendars!  
For today... partly cloudy with Ms Sun peeking her way in occasionally, a high of 59° with SW winds at 10-15mph.  Tonight... less cloudy, with a low of 43° and West winds at 10-20mph.  Tomorrow... except for the afternoon clouds, mainly sunny with temps almost tapping 50° and a bit blustery with winds out of the NW.   Both Saturday and Sunday will have both intervals of clouds and sun and temps in the low-50s. Only 19 days until the Winter Solstice which is the first day of Winter although we're now in Winter according to the meteorological date for Winter.  I'm sticking with the 12/21 not 12/1.
