Mornin'! It's 69° in Wildwood NJ. Humidity's 85% with a dewpoint of 60°. Winds are out of the E-NE at 10-20mph. Ms Sun's on her way and she's already painting the sky and some light cloud cover shades of reddish-orange (aka: Vermilion). It's a lovely albeit breezy morning down the shore. It'll start out nice with peeks of sunshine on and off but will be mostly overcast beginning a little later today once the clouds take over the sky. Temps will be in the low-70s with E-NE winds at 15-25mph +gusting. Tonight... mostly cloudy, temps in the upper 60s and E-NE winds at 15-25mph +gusting. Tomorrow... cloudy and windy with 20% chance of rain showers, temps in the mid-70s and E-NE winds very blustery at 20-30mph +gusting. Tomorrow night... 70% chance of rain with the potential for heavy rainfall, temps in the upper 60s with E-NE blustery winds at 15-25mph +gusting. We'll probably be feeling and seeing the effects of a southeast coastal disturbance that's hitting the Carolina's right now and could form into a subtropical or tropical storm Helene. As it heads up the coast and in our direction, expect rain and wind by Wednesday and continuing into Thursday, Friday and Saturday here along our Coast. Not to mention, the Full Moon is tomorrow and we all know what a Full and/or New Moon can do to our high tides. Don't lose sight of the increased possibility of coastal flooding with this rain system as it pays a visit during a Full Moon cycle. And, don't go into the ocean today as the Rip Currents are "High Risk" and dangerous.
