Mornin'! It's 63° in Wildwood NJ. Humidity's 83% with a dewpoint of 60°. Ms Sun's up and painting the island gold this morning. No clouds blocking her rays this start to the day. Winds are light out of the West at 4-7mph. It'll be just like yesterday with vivid blue skies, temps in the upper 70s and W-NW winds at 5-10mph. Tonight... clear skies, temps around where they are now... low 60s and West winds at 5-10mph. Tomorrow... another beauty with sunny skies, temps in the mid-70s and East winds at 5-10mph. Tomorrow night... clear with a smattering of clouds, temps in the low-60s and E-SE winds at 5-10mph. I did a beach day yesterday and even with those West winds, I didn't see one green-head fly. I had the repellent at the ready though. I'm going again today and probably again tomorrow and Thursday. We're in the midst of some fantastic beach weather as well as very deserted beaches. With the coastal towns quiet again, it's hard to describe my surroundings but with hardly anyone around town or at the beach, it's the most peaceful, quiet, beautiful and cherished moments now. Wildwood has quieted and slowed way down. It's also what retirement at the Shore is all about... a very grateful and satisfying time of the year for me.
