Winterwood Christmas Store - Cape May NJ |
Mornin'! It's 31° in Wildwood NJ. It's crisp and clear outside in the early morning darkness. The sky is lit with stars as far as the eye can see. There's a very light northerly breeze at 2-4mph. It makes for standing on the porch and deeply breathing in the salty darkness the proper thing to do. Sometimes when the wind is whipping icy cold, the last thing I'm thinking is how good that wintry blast feels. This morning though...perfectly doable and pleasant. Ms Sun's on her way and is scheduled to rise and shine just after 7a.m. this morning. Expect plenty of sunshine today with temps in the low 40s as the North winds become West by this afternoon at 7-9mph. Tonight...mostly clear with temps in the low 30s and West winds at 10-15mph with gusting as high as 30mph Tomorrow...a repeat of today with a bit more stiffness to the breezes as they begin to calm down by nighttime. Today's blog photo was taken last night while doing a little Christmas shopping in Cape May at the Washington Street Mall. This photo is the facade of the building formerly known as First Jersey Trust Bank builit in 1895. It's a great Christmas Shop opened all year.
