President's Weekend

Mornin'!  It's 41° in Wildwood NJ.  It's gray and cloudy with light breezes out of the N-NW at 5-7mph.  It'll be a mostly cloudy (peeks of sun) first half of the day with temps staying just about where they are now... low 40s and breezes ramping up a bit coming from the same direction they are now... N-NW at 8-10mph.  This afternoon into this evening as the temps drop the skies will clear out of any leftover clouds and become starlit and moonlit.  Temps will drop somewhat in the mid-30s with Northerly breezes at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow... basically more clouds than sun with temps in the mid-upper 30s. When driving back onto the island last evening, the traffic around me gave me pause as I wondered what the heck is going on.  Then I realized that this weekend is considered a holiday weekend (President's Weekend / Valentine's Weekend).  A little bit of a visitor invasion the first time this year as the out-of-towners (mostly Philadelphia and New York license plates) are stopping by for the long holiday weekend.  It's historically the time of year for anyone considering a vacation here this summer to connect with our local realtors and rental agents and reserve their favorite summer vacation rentals.  It's once again time to share the island...  Enjoy!  Oh... and those Sea Isle City plungers... have fun and play it safe as you run into that 38° ocean today! http://www.landisco.com/seaislecitycams.php#camview
