Ides Of March - Nasty Crapola Weather Coming

This Morning's Webcam Shots - East and West
Mornin'!  It's 41° feeling like 34° with those East winds at 15-20mph  +gusting.  Ms Sun's up and shining through some scattered clouds everywhere. It's the Ides of March known as the day Julius Caesar was assassinated in 44BC.  It's also known as a term representing the middle of the month or the first full moon of the month.  The New Moon is this coming Wednesday but no Full Moon until April 1st.
It's cold outside and feeling very wintry with 5 days to go until Spring.  Crapola weather is heading in our direction.  For today... a mix of clouds and sun followed by cloudy skies this afternoon, with a slight chance (20%) of rain.  Temps will be right near 50° with East winds at 15-25mph.  Tonight... 90% chance of rain beginning with evening showers evolving to a steady, soaking rain overnight, temps in the upper 40s and SE winds at 20-30mph +gusting.  Tomorrow... windy with morning showers evolving to a steady, soaking rain in the afternoon, temps near 55° and winds out of the South at 25-35mph +gusting.  Tomorrow night... windy with showers and thunderstorms during the evening and overnight (75% chance). Temps will be in the low-mid 30s with S-SW winds shifting to the W-NW at 25-35mph +gusting.  Tuesday... partly sunny with clouds and gusty winds, temps in the low-40s and W-NW winds at 20-30mph.  Tuesday night... partly cloudy, temps in the upper 20s and NW winds at 15-25mph. As I mentioned the New Moon is 3 days away but is already beginning to affect the tides.  The high tides are going to be much higher than normal with steady rains and winds so be aware of tidal/coastal flood during the high tide times.  Know your low-lying areas on the island.  Be mindful of where you park your vehicle.  Do your best not to drive through the flood waters which will be no doubt on the island during this upcoming stormy weather.

Low Tide: 12:07PM
Ocean Temp: 40.8°
