New Moon - Partial Eclipse Today

Mornin'!  It's 75° in Wildwood NJ.  It's a New Moon hump day.  Right now, we're mostly cloudy with very light breezes out of the N-NW at 3-5mph.  Expect a mix of sun and clouds today.  Ms Sun will eventually show herself.  There's a stray shower possible later this afternoon (3-5pm at 15% chance).  Temps will be in the upper 80s with North winds at 5-10mph.  Tonight... 20% chance of rain and/or thunderstorms, temps in the mid-70s and S-SW winds at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow... same as today with partly sunny conditions, temps in the upper 80s and W-NW winds at 10-15mph.  Tomorrow night... a few clouds with 15% chance of a passing shower, temps in the low-mid 70s and NW winds at 5-10mph.  As for this coming weekend... Saturday... generally sunny, temps in the low-80s and E-NE breezes at 10-15mph.  Saturday night... mostly clear, temps in the low-mid 70s and SE winds at 5-10mph. Sunday... partly clear with increasing clouds by later in the afternoon, There's a 40% chance of rain then.  Sunday's temps will be  around 80° with S-SE winds at 10-20mph. Sunday night... 60% chance of rain.  Due to the New Moon, the tides will be exaggerated today... the high tides will seem much higher than usual.  As for today's Eclipse... it's a partial solar eclipse for us (Northeast US) and we could see a partial sliver.  New York City will experience 7-8% coverage at around 11:30AM-1:55PM.  If there's sunshine and you're possibly able to see it, you will need solar eclipse glasses to view the sun during that time to protect your retinas from damage.
