Low tide was just over an hour ago and the first thing you notice when stepping outside is the heavy, thick, marsh smell. That somewhat "rotten-egg" smell is caused by hydrogen sulfide gas released when bacteria break down decaying organic matter in oxygen-poor mudflats. Just an fyi. Expect areas of patchy fog this morning, turning into a sunny day with temps in the mid-60s. Winds will be light and variable. Tonight... clear, temps in the upper 50s with SW winds at 5-10mph. Tomorrow... another sunny day, temps around 70°, with winds out of the W-NW at 10-20mph. Tomorrow night... clear, temps in the upper 40s with North winds at 10-15mph. Saturday... cooler with intervals of sun and clouds, temps around 60° and North winds at 10-15mph. Saturday night... cloudy, temps in the upper 40s with light and variable breezes. Sunday... starting out mostly cloudy with Ms Sun shining through the partly cloudy skies by the afternoon, temps around 60° and light and variable winds. Sunday night... mostly clear, temps around 50° with light and variable winds.
