Mornin'! It's 80° in Wildwood NJ. Dewpoint is 67° with humidity at 66%. It's a bright, sunny morning and feels good outside. I immediately thought "turn the ac off" but it's heading to near 90° so... it's staying on today. But now, I'm thinking it's best to keep it on throughout this week and next (holiday) weekend even though there's no sign of a heat wave. There is definitely a predictable scene of crowded, noisy, surroundings of people, dogs barking, all types of vehicles, car doors slamming repeatedly, motorcycles, fireworks, reciprocating saws, hours of hammering, weed-wackers, neighboring parties and boom boxes etc. It's not only nice to have a sealed, dark, cool, home but comfortable place of peace and quiet. Why not? I mean I love to hear the seagulls as well as feel a sea breeze wafting through my house, but I can return to that again someday.

We have a string of clouds right along the horizon as Ms Sun's trying to rise and shine through. She will succeed and it shouldn't be too much longer. Expect plenty of sunshine today with a few clouds this last Sunday of June. A stray shower and/or thunderstorm is possible (20% chance). Temps will be in the mid-80s. Yesterday we reached 91° and I wouldn't be surprised if we come close to that again. Light breezes will eventually make their presence known out of the SW at 8-11mph. Tonight... mostly clear with some clouds in the mix as temps drop down to the low-70s with Westerly breezes at 5-10mph. Tomorrow... looks like a repeat of today with those Westerly breezes remaining on the weather menu. Remember that insect repellent along with the sunscreen!

Expect plentiful sunshine today as temps reach the low-mid 80s and W-SW breezes will be about 10-15mph. Tonight... mostly clear, low of 71°, winds out of the SW at 5-10mph along with a 20% chance of precipitation. Tomorrow and Sunday... partly cloudy, high near 85° and SW breezes at 10-20mph.
Mornin'! It's 71° in Wildwood NJ. We're currently under cloud cover as sunrise was over a half an hour ago. Breezes are light out of the SW at 4-6mph. Ms Sun is hidden at the moment and will most likely be grappling with cloud cover all day today. It's looking like a mostly cloudy day with 30% chance of rain developing by this afternoon. Temps will barely tap 80° with SW winds at 10-15mph. Tonight... widely scattered rain showers and/or thunderstorms (30% chance) with temps dropping into the mid-upper 60s and SW breezes at 5-10mph. Tomorrow's looking much sunnier with a high of 83° and West winds at 10-15mph. The weekend's looking pretty decent but cloudier than first expected. Temps will be in the low-80s with lovely island breezes. A note about the West winds (due in tomorrow and Sunday)... always keep in mind if heading to the beach on a "west wind" day that more than likely you'll be a feast for the those pesky green-head flies. Inevitably, the west winds carry them toward the coast and they're blood suckers. Always carry some form of insect repellent to ward off these relentless, biting little creatures. There's one good thing regarding these flies... they're big and "slow" and if you're focused and patient you can swat them (a rolled up magazine or newspaper works best) and end their insatiable appetite right then and there.
