Mornin'!  This is it May!  I can't believe how short your Month seemed this year for some reason.  You brought just as many sunny days and you did rainy/cloudy days. It looks like your bowing out with a beautiful sunny day and saved the best for last.

Memorial Day

Mornin'! It's Memorial Day!  It's time to reflect on all the lives who served to give us our Freedoms.  It's difficult to use the term "Happy" Memorial Day.  There's truly nothing "happy" about it.  Enjoy your holiday today but never forget those who gave up their life for us and our liberties. Today we remember and honor those who have paid that ultimate sacrifice. 

It's 66° in Wildwood NJ.  Humidity's 95% with a dewpoint of 65°; winds are out of the S-SE at 10-15mph.  We're drenched here on the island as we just had a couple major thunderstorms pass through for the last hour or so.  That's what woke me this morning.  Everything just got nicely watered and the streets are still a bit on the floody-side as they're draining while I type.  The island birds seem to all be celebrating their Memorial Day morning showers.
It'll be mostly wet today as this rain system that's passed and is over the ocean now, may be the prelude to the rest of those developing storms headed our way.  We might see peeks of sun this morning, but by the afternoon, there's a 90% chance of more stormy weather passing over us.  Temps will be in the low-mid 70s with South winds at 15-25mph +gusting.  Tonight... 50% chance of scattered thunderstorms, becoming partly cloudy late into the overnight, temps back to the mid-upper 60s and SW winds at 10-20mph.  Tomorrow... sunny, temps near 80°, and West winds at 10-15mph.

The Intensity Continues

Mornin'!  It's 67° in Wildwood NJ.  It's cloudy and gray with humidity at 93%.  The air is heavy and it's almost foggy but not quite.  Ms Sun's trying to brighten things up but for the most part it looks like it could rain at any moment.  Breezes are barely there out of the S-SE at 3-5mph.  When I researched today's weather, I kept getting conflicting forecasts.  One is foggy this morning.  Another is light rain this morning (70% chance).  Another is sunny this morning.  For the record, there's no sunshine and no rain.  It looks like it's going to be a partly sunny Sunday, temps in the low-mid 70s and SE winds at 5-10mph.  Tonight... mostly cloudy with occasional showers overnight (40% chance), temps in the low-60s and S-SE winds at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow... showers and thunderstorms on tap (70% chance), otherwise cloudy, temps in the low-70s with Southerly stiff breezes at 15-25mph.  Tomorrow night... rain 80% chance (we could see heavy rainfall), temps in the low-60s with South winds at 15-20mph.  Tuesday... sunny with temps in the mid-upper 70s.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend

Mornin'!  It's 66° in Wildwood NJ.  Ms Sun's up and almost finished melting all that fog that was hovering over the island this morning.  Breezes are barely there at 3-5mph out of the SE.  The birds are chirping and squawking all over the neighborhood.  Windows are all still wide open admitting all that sea air into the house.  It's a perfectly lovely morning down the Shore.  We're going to have a mix of sun and clouds this morning which will give way to a partly to mostly sunny afternoon.  Temps will be in the low-mid 70s with S-SE winds at 5-10mph.  Tonight... mostly cloudy, temps in the low-60s and Southerly winds at 10-15mph.  Tomorrow... partly to mostly cloudy, 25% chance of a shower, temps around 70° with S-SE winds at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow night... mostly cloudy, temps in the mid-60s with 8-10mph breezes out of the S-SE.  Monday... looking gray with scattered showers and/or thunderstorms (60% chance), temps around 70° with S-SE winds at 15-25mph +gusting.  Monday night... thunderstorms during the evening and leftover showers overnight (70% chance), temps in the upper 60s, S-SW winds at 10-20mph.
