Sunny Sunday

Crest Pier (great viewing spot)
Mornin'!  It's 57° in Wildwood NJ.  It's clear, starlit, moonlit and mostly still (very light breezes to note).  There's a handful of clouds here and there but my guess is they'll make this morning's sunrise better than usual.  It'll be another lovely day down the Shore with temps tapping low 70° and breezes out of the S-SW at 8-10mph.  Tonight...clear and moonlit with temps in the upper 50s and breezes out of the S-SW at 10-15mph.  Appears to be a good night for the rocket launch from Wallops Island VA. It is amazing how we can actually view a launch in Wildwood NJ that's happening in Virginia but we can! In fact we'll get much more than a rocket launch tonight if you're on the beach as it'll be a Full Moon rise, the International Space Station will fly over the island at 7:33p.m. then a ½ hour later...the rocket launch.  Nighttime fun on the beach this evening!
High tide:8:27a.m.
Low tide:2:39p.m.
Ocean temp:65°
Sunset:6:21p.m.
Moonrise:7:02p.m.
International Space Station Fly By:7:33p.m.
Antares Rocket Launch:8:03p.m. (It is contingent on the completion of all remaining pre-launch tests.  This cargo mission will deliver over 5,000lbs of science, research and supplies to the orbiting lab and its crew.  In October 2014, the rocket that was launched exploded right before our eyes!)
