We're In The Deep Freeze This Last Day Of January! See You Next Year!

Mornin'!  It's 12° in Wildwood NJ.  We're under clear starlit skies and breezes out of the N-NE at 10-15mph giving us a windchill of -2°.  We're in the midst of a Polar Vortex which is basically North Pole weather reaching down and covering the midwest and eastern part of the country which is triggering the coldest arctic outbreak in the last two decades.  Along the eastern coast expect dangerously cold conditions in the forecast for today until the weekend (the weekend brings in warmer temperatures (30s / 40s).  There's a wind chill advisory posted today until tomorrow afternoon.  Take heed when outside and be diligent with covering any exposed skin.  Remember to use the doggie coat on that Pooch.  We will have sunshine today as temps tap 20° with W-NW winds at 10-15mph creating a windchill of around 9°.  Tonight... clear, 18° (wind chill of 9°) and winds out of the West at 4-8mph.  Tomorrow... gray, icy cold, snow flurries/showers in the afternoon.  Next up... February and until next year... auf wiedersehen January!  Oh, also next up... instead of homemade soup, I decided to make a pot of Jambalaya... andouille sausage, shrimp and chicken are in the house!
High tide: 4:34a.m. and 5:00p.m.
