Until Next Time June!

Mornin'!  It's 78° in Wildwood NJ.  It's the end of another month which flew by in my opinion.  See ya next year June.  This last day of June will be a hazy, hot and humid Sunday with temps tapping 90°. This morning feels fairly warm already even with that big storm we had early last evening.  We got pummeled with extreme rains and winds as it thankfully didn't put us in a flooding situation. No damage to report from the winds either.  At least I don't have to water the gardens today.  There's sun pouring down now with humidity at 75% and dewpoint at 69° with winds out of the W-NW at 8-12mph.  The humidity will drop down today to 40-50% as winds pick up out of the W-NW at 15-25mph. Tonight will be clear with temps back down into the low-mid 70s and Northerly breezes even stiffer at 20-25mph simmering down to 15-20mph late tonight.  Tomorrow... same as today but not as hot.  And, it's a "new moon" tomorrow so expect much higher and lower tides.  The back bay (marsh side) tides of the island is always an hour later than the ocean side tides.  If going to the beach, pack accordingly with footwear,  insect repellent (West winds), bungee cord or sand gripper for the beach umbrella (it's gonna get windy) and plenty of Sunscreen.
High tide: 6:57p.m.
Low tide: 12:22p.m.
Ocean temp: 68°
Sunset: 8:26p.m.
UV Index: 9 (high)
Rip Currents: low risk
