Mornin'! It's 36° in Wildwood NJ. We're currently under dark, starlit skies as Ms Sun lies in wait for her grand entrance in less than an hour. It's cold and crisp without much in the line of breezes (N-NW at 3-5mph). Expect partly sunny skies this morning with clouds filtering in during the afternoon. Temps will be in the mid-upper 40s with S-SW breezes at 5-10mph. Tonight... thick cloud cover with periods of rain beginning well after sunset. Rainfall could be heavy tonight and we could get up to an inch (be aware of possible tidal flooding in low-lying areas). Temps will be in the low-mid 40s with stiff S-SE breezes at 10-20mph. It looks like we'll wake to wind and rain tomorrow. The rain showers will head out by late-morning but the clouds seem to like it here and will remain in tomorrow's forecast only allowing Ms Sun to peek in as temps tap 50° and those blustery winds staying checked in (W-NW at 20-25mph).
Mornin'! It's 44° in Wildwood NJ. We're under cloud cover with gray skies. Breezes are light out of the West at 3-6mph. I thought Ms Sun was checking in today but it seems that it'll be only for peeks. It'll be mostly cloudy with temps in the low-50s. West winds will be wifting (wafting) over the island at 5-7mph. Tonight... mostly cloudy with temps in the low-mid 40s and NW breezes at 3-5mph. Tomorrow... mostly sunny as brisk winds will be back. Speaking of "will be back"... rain could be checking in for Friday and Saturday.
Mornin'! It's 38° in Wildwood NJ! It's gray with Ms Sun doing a little brightening up the skies at the moment. It's mostly cloudy and misty though. There's a 40% chance of showers developing late this afternoon / early evening. Temps will get up into the low 50s today. So, let's talk "winds" as they're the star of the show this weekend. Winds are currently out of the NE at 25-35mph + gusting giving us a wind chill of 32°. They've been howling and pruning since yesterday morning. Since this storm system is considered a "Nor'easter" that's passing through this weekend, those winds out of the NE will pound the coast in this holding pattern at 25-35mph with gusting over 40mph until Monday morning. It'll be mostly cloudy and misty all throughout the day as temps tap 50°. Wind chill will be in the low-40s. Tonight... cloudy and still very windy with a 40% chance of rain, temps in the upper 40s (windchill-low 40s). Be aware there is a Coastal Flood Warning posted beginning today at 8am until Monday at 5pm. We're to expect tidal flooding and major beach erosion as these winds (and later periods of rain) continue to pound our shoreline and coast. North Wildwood will certainly take a hit as the shoreline line is already beaten down and very fragile. Note the high tides as low-lying areas and many streets and roadways may become flooded and impassable. Don't damage the undercarriage of your vehicle and attempt to drive through floodwaters!| Delaware Bay - Cape May |

Mornin'! It's 43° in Wildwood NJ. It's cloudy with light breezes out of the South at 4-7mph. Ms Sun is on her way but will have her work cut out for her as the morning clouds plan on sticking around a bit. Expect a mostly sunny day though with temps heading into the upper 50s. Breezes will be out of the SW at 10-15mph. Tonight... partly cloudy, upper 40s, SW breezes at 5-10mph. Tomorrow... almost the same as today with mild temps and it looks like more clouds than sun. The Full Moon is Tuesday and we just might be able to see one of those spectacular moonrises this week (it's all about the cloud cover). Tonight's moonrise is a half-hour before sunset. And, with the Full Moon (and New Moon for that matter) note how high the tides have been as of late. It's all about the pull of the Moon's force. The "force" is with us!| Lots Of Birds Heading South This Time Of Year |
