Mornin'! Happy Thanksgiving! So many things to be thankful for as we celebrate gratitude and blessings today. All my "sides" are ready for the Feast today. I made coleslaw, mashed turnips, sauteed brussel sprouts, baked sweet potato casserole and homemade peach pie (which I tried my best to replicate old Groff's (in Wildwood) infamous peach pie). We're transporting the goods as we head to Philly (with stretch pants on) to spend the holiday with family.
It's 49° in Wildwood NJ. It feels like 39° with the wind chill. The W-NW winds are currently howling at 25-30mph +gusting. And, they're not going to get any better today as they get even stronger this afternoon. It'll feel cold with a partly cloudy / partly sunny day as temps just about tap 50° with an upper 30° wind chill. Winds will be out of the NW at 25-35mph +gusting. Tonight... clear, a bit calmer with winds out of the N-NW at 15-25mph +gusts and temps in the low-40s (feeling like low-30s). Tomorrow... mostly sunny, temps in the low-40s and a little blustery (nothing like today). The weekend's still looking 50-50 with Saturday much like tomorrow and Sunday... still looking wet.
