TGIF!

Mornin'!  It's 37° in Wildwood NJ.  It feels like 29° with the North winds at 8-12mph.  Part of the sky is clear (mainland side) and the other part is cloud covered (ocean side).  Ms Sun's up and has crossed the horizon about 10 minutes ago but she's not victorious in shining over the island yet this morning.  It's cold outside.  I didn't see any frost on the pumpkin, but that sea air's got a perfect preview of "icy winter" all over it.  Thankfully, it'll be a sunny day with temps in the mid-40s (it'll feel like the upper 30s) with stiff N-NW winds at 20-30mph creating that windchill.  Tonight... mostly clear, temps in the mid-upper 30s (windchill: upper 20s), and North winds at 10-15mph.  The weekend's looking seasonably cool with partly sunny skies and less wind for tomorrow.  Sunday... mostly sunny, temps back up in the mid-50s with stiff winds checked back in (not quite as annoying as today).  This morning, I turned the ol' furnace on for the first time since last Spring.  Everything looks (and feels) great as this little seashore cottage warms up with a heater that seems to be (thankfully) working for another cold season.  We've been depending on the little gas fireplace to warm our bones as of late but the house heater is just the ticket today!  Happy Friday!
