Full Beaver Moon Today

Mornin'!  It's 58° in Wildwood NJ.  It's gray and completely overcast.  Breezes are out of the W-SW at 15-20mph.  With all that said, it's a relatively okay morning outside.  It doesn't feel that cold and for sure doesn't hit you with a blast of winter.  Yet.  It's coming later today though.  Expect a mild, breezy start to the day without Ms Sun.  Showers are heading this way later this morning as they bring with them a significant drop in temps and major winds.  It's going to be miserable.  The Soup is getting made today! By early evening temps will be in the mid-30s with SW winds at 20-25 +gusting of 35mph making it feel like the upper 20s.  Tonight... mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming clear with a low of 24° feeling like 18° with a North wind at 20-25mph +gusting.  Get out the scarf and gloves!  Tomorrow... sunny, high near the mid-30s and NW winds at 10-20mph.  There is a Gale Warning and Small Craft Advisory posted here until 6am tomorrow.  Expect rough seas and big wave action along with more beach erosion.  It is the Full Beaver Moon (named that by early settlers and indians as it's the season that Beavers take winter shelter in their lodges). I'll just throw out that ol' reminder about the high tides coming from that Moon... with the rain, wind and moon it all equaling one thing to me... possibility of island flooding.  Don't drive through floodwaters!
High tide: 7:24AM and 7:48PM
Low tide: 1:37PM
Ocean temp: 57°
Sunrise: 6:35AM
Sunset: 4:49PM
Moonrise: 5:13PM
