TGIF

Irish Fall Festival - North Wildwood
Mornin'!  It's 53° in Wildwood NJ.  Ms Sun's up and shining down.  Breezes are light out of the W-SW at 6-8mph.  The island birds are chirping and squawking welcoming the day.  It's lovely.  It's also the calm before the storm.  There's a winter storm headed right for the Northeast area of the US.  Unlike the Great Lake region and the Northern part of New York who may get snow (you read that correctly) tonight into tomorrow, we will probably just get rain.  But, that all begins tonight and I'm getting ahead of myself.
Today... sunny start with clouds rolling in and increasing to total cloudiness by this afternoon with 50% chance of rain showers.  Temps should hit the 60s.  Winds will ramp up today still out of the SW at 15-20mph.  Now, tonight... 90% chance of rain as winds increase even more... W-NW at 20-30mph + gusting as temps drop into the mid-upper 30s.  I'd be thinking about any young, tender seedlings or plants outside and put them in a safer, warmer space like the garage, shed, laundry room or somewhere out of the very cold, blustery elements.  An option is to cover them (tarps, sheets, frost blanket etc) as well.  Tomorrow... sunny and windy with temps only in the upper 40s feeling much colder with the windchill and the very blustery conditions.  It certainly won't feel like Spring.  Sunday... almost 60° with less windy conditions.
