April's Bidding Adieu

Mornin'!  It's 63° in Wildwood NJ.  There's a "gale warning" posted... "Mariners should remain in port, alter course and/or secure vessels for severe conditions".  This is how April's saying "farewell". We're currently under partly cloudy skies.  I'd say most of the cloud cover is over the ocean side of the island and blocking Ms Sun's rise yet making for a beautiful (breezy) start to the day.  The bay side... partly cloudy but the clouds are currently opening up and providing clear blue skies.  But, the main attraction this morning is the wind... it's windy as hell.  Winds are out of the W-NW at 25-30mph +gusting.  I woke to an incredibly huge bang which was one of my porch chairs being turned over by the winds.  The winds are howling... literally "howling" as they blow down the streets and over my house.  They're going to be howling all day and night into tomorrow afternoon.  Strap in and put the hairspray away.  It'll be a mostly sunny day with temps nothing like yesterday... we hit 83°.  Today... we'll be lucky to see 68°.  W-NW winds are staying checked in at 20-30mph +gusting.  Tonight... partly cloudy, low of 46° and W-NW at 25-35mph +gusting.  Tomorrow... sunny, high of 62° and W-NW winds at 20-30mph.  Sunday... partly sunny, temps around 70° and W-SW winds at 15-20mph.  Until next year April, see ya on the other side!
