Cinco De Mayo

Mornin'!  It's 63° in Wildwood NJ.  Happy Cinco De Mayo!  The 5th of May is a celebration of Mexican heritage commemorating the date of the Mexican army's victory over France at the battle of Puebla in 1862.  We're going to have a mix of weather today as we pop the Tequila. We're currently under partly cloudy / foggy skies but more so at the ocean side of the island as the marsh side has more breaks in the grayness.  Breezes are light out of the SW at 4-6mph.  Oh... we had a nice watering overnight as the plants, lawns, trees, flowers, veggies, herbs, birdbath and you name it... all watered nicely. For today, expect a mix of clouds and sun with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, high around 70° and Westerly breezes at 10-15mph.  Chance of showers is 50%.  Tonight... partly cloudy skies, low 50s and NW winds at 10-20mhp.  Tomorrow... mostly sunny  and cooler... low 60s with NW winds at 10-20mph. At this time, the weekend's looking cloud covered with showers here and there (Saturday morning and then again Sunday evening) but we all know that can change.

Thanks Tina. Crying has been few and far between with Freddy's absence now. Although I had a really good one Sunday out of the blue remembering his cute face as I passed him over to the Vet that very difficult day. I really try not to focus on one of the hardest moments with him. But, there are many, many, many great, happy, beautiful memories. Thanks for you empathy. It means a lot. ♥
