Mornin'! Happy Independence Day Weekend! It's 73° in Wildwood NJ. It's a bit sticky outside this morning. Humidity's 84% with a dew point of 71°. Here's an fyi about "humidity" (also known as "hum-a-ditti" which is what my Father always called it), but a dew point between 55° and 60° is noticeably humid. It becomes really muggy when the dew point is above 60°. If above 65°, it becomes very uncomfortable. Any dew point readings above 70° are oppressive and even dangerous as it's the kind of heavy air and stickiness that you would experience in the tropics or a brutal summer heat wave. It's unsafe for those with breathing issues. Our dew point will be just over 70° throughout today and tonight.
