Mornin'!  It's 43° in Wildwood NJ.  Happy Monday!  I spoke of this many times and Monday was not my day of the week. I never could put my finger on it but it was always my most "dreaded" day of the week and I tried everything to change my mood and energy.  As I'm now enjoying retirement, Mondays are an entirely different story as I feel happy and alive.  Funny how that works out.  It's a bittersweet Monday today as my hometown football team lost the Super Bowl last night.  Congrats to the Kansas City Chiefs as they beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 as they all played a tough, tight game.  Knowing Philly fans we all are so appreciative and supportive to the Eagles for such an incredible, fun season. You rock!  On to next year!

Last night's damp, wet weather matched the mood of the Eagles fans no doubt. Here down the shore we had heavy, pelting rains and winds that could blow a front door off before, during and after the game.  All night long, the rain and winds persisted.  It was tough sleeping.  However, today it'll be a 180°.  Even though we're saturated and very damp outside, Ms Sun's doing all she can to break through the leftover cloud cover.  Winds have calmed down as they are currently out of the N-NW at 10-15mph.  Expect these morning clouds to check out and give way to a sunny Monday.  Temps will be in the low-50s with W-NW winds a bit blustery at 10-20mph.  Let's talk about the winds.  Here's the schedule for the winds today: now they're out of the N-NW and will switch to W-NW by mid-day then again from the West around dinner time and then again by bedtime from the W-SW.  Most of the day, they'll be around 10-20mph but will calm now and then to 10-15mph.
Tonight... clear, temps around 40°.  Tomorrow... about the same as today.  Sunny, temps around 50° and a bit blustery winds out of the W-NW!
