Polar Plunge Day

Mornin'!  It's 39° in Wildwood NJ.  It's cloudy as Ms Sun's probably not going on display at all today.  Winds are out of the S-SE at 10-15mph making it feel like the low-30s.  It'll be cloudy today with off and on rain showers by this afternoon.  Originally, it looked like the rain would begin around 1pm or so.  Now, it's looking more like 4pm.   Temps are going up into the mid-upper 40s with South winds at 10-15mph.  Seems like a decent Polar Plunge Day if you ask me.  If you want to go... it's on the beach at the Convention Center 4501 Boardwalk.  You can see it from afar on the Webcam (https://wildwoodinsider.com/). And, if you want to donate to the Plunge and their cause (Special Olympics... https://www.plungewildwood.org/ ).
Chance of showers later today... 40%.  Tonight... cloudy, temps in the low-30s with West winds at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow... this so called Nor'easter that's heading over the mid-Atlantic region has the potential for snow and ice, freezing temps along with snowfall that could be some decent accumulations.  However, our region seems to have been a part of that slight shift in the storm track with more of a rain event than what Northwest of the I-95 corridor will get (5-9 inches). We're definitely going to get those freezing cold temps and a possible coating to an inch of snow.  It won't be until Sunday night into Monday. Tomorrow will have 90% chance of rain with a wintry mix and strong winds coming in by the evening.  Tomorrow night's temps will be in the low-20s with NW winds at 20-30mph.  Monday... windy with partial cloud cover, temps in the mid-20s and dropping along with W-NW winds at 20-30mph +gusting.  Monday night... clear, temps around 13° with NW winds at 15-25mph.
