Mornin'! Happy Cinco de Mayo! Cinco de Mayo is observed annually (widely in the US) and is associated with the celebration of Mexican-American cultures since 1862. It was actually the "Battle Of Puebla" that's celebrated on this date with Mexico's much smaller Army victorious over the powerful French forces at that battle on May 5th 1862.
Back to the weather in Wildwood... it's raining, temp is 59°, winds are out of the East at 5-10mph. The clouds are thick and insulating the sounds of the waves crashing the shore 6+ blocks away from my home. I don't always hear the ocean's roar and it's nice when that's the sounds waking me in the morning. This morning rain will give way to fog and more rain this afternoon (90% chance). Temps will stay around the low-60s with E-SE winds at 10-15mph. Tonight... foggy and rainy (50% chance), temps in the upper 50s and SE winds at 10-15mph. Tomorrow... morning fog, mostly cloudy day, 20% chance of rain, temps in the mid-60s and Southerly winds at 10-20mph. Tomorrow night... partly cloudy, temps around 60°, S-SW at 6-9mph. Wednesday... intervals of sun and clouds, temps in the mid-upper 60s and West winds at 5-10mph.
