Mornin'! It's 78° in Wildwood NJ. The air is damp, heavy and tropical. Humidity's 98% with a dewpoint of 77° making it feel like 87°. Winds are barely there out of the W-SW at 2-4mph. The outdoor plants are all smiling as each leave is glistening with moisture. It'll be mostly sunny once Ms Sun melts the haze that surrounds her. Expect a hot one with sunny skies, temps near 90° and SW winds at 10-15mph. Tonight... 50% chance of scattered rain showers and/or thunderstorms. Storms may contain strong gusty winds along with heavy downpours. Temps will drop to the mid-70s along with SW winds at 10-20mph. We never got that big storm they talked about yesterday as the Cape May "bubble" kicked in (check yesterday's blog entry) and blew by us with just a little spritz. Tomorrow... partly sunny, temps in the low-mid 80s and SW winds at 10-15mph. There's always that chance of a stray shower or thunderstorm (20% chance) so keep your eye on the sky. Tomorrow night... partly cloudy, 50% chance of scattered rain and/or thunderstorms, temps in the mid-70s and SW winds at 10-15mph. The High Tides are beginning to show higher than normal due to the Full Moon coming Thursday. If heading to the beach... pack wisely. Remember to wear something on your feet as the sand will be scorching. Pack sunscreen, plenty of water and a cover (either in clothing or umbrella or both etc.).
