Monday Blizzard Report

First Photo Of Hernando

Mornin'!  It's 30° in Wildwood NJ.  It feels like 28° with the blizzard conditions still bringing the heavy snow and winds.  Winds are currently out of the NW at 28-35mph +gusting.  Hernando's not messing around.  He arrived yesterday around 2pm and hasn't relented at all.  It's 6am and my house is encased much like the Overlook Hotel in the Shining.  I can't seem to find one window to have a clear view looking out.  I've tried opening the back porch door with no luck.  The front door opened enough to allow me some early morning photos.  It's quiet except for the howling winds.  We're all encased with icy snow.  It'll snow today until this afternoon (2-3pm approxiatmately) with NW winds at 25-35mph +gusting.  They're saying another 3" at least.  Tonight... Hernando checks out leaving behind partly cloudy skies, temps in the upper 20s and NW winds at 20-30mph +gusting.  Tomorrow... partly to mostly sunny, temps in the low-mid 30s and W-NW winds at 15-25mph.  Tomorrow night... partly cloudy, temps around 30° and S-SW winds at 15-25mph.  Wednesday... kicking off the day with rain, becoming cloudy with temps in the mid-40s and SW winds at 15-25mph.  Chance of rain is 50%.  Rain with milder temps should give us the meltdown needed to crawl out of this winter storm.  36 days till Spring!
