Heat Waves The Next Few Days

Mornin'!  It's 70° in Wildwood NJ.  Humidity's 84% with a dewpoint of 64°.  Winds are out of the W-SW at 4-6mph and Ms Sun's up and shining brightly over the island.  It's "New Moon" day which means the tides will be higher than normal at high tide times.  We're heading toward the first high tide of the day in the 8 o'clock hour.  Expect a hot one today with not a cloud in the sky and plentiful sunshine, temps in the mid-upper 80s and S-SW winds at 10-15mph.  Tonight... clear, temps in the mid-70s and SW winds at 10-15mph.  Tomorrow... super hot with sunny skies and near record-breaking temps at mid-upper 90s feeling like 105° and West winds at 10-20mph making it feel even hotter.  Tomorrow night... partly clear, temps in the mid-upper 70s and W-NW winds at 10-15mph.  Thursday... partly cloudy, temps in the upper 80s / low 90s, and S-SE winds at 10-15mph.  Thursday night... a few clouds from time to time, temps in the upper 70s and N-NW winds at 10-15mph. Be mindful of any possible tidal flooding due to the New Moon.  Know your low-lying areas and don't drive through flood (salty-corrosive) waters.  Oh... that beach sand scorching hot.  Footwear is a must and for yourself and the kiddos.  Keep hydrated.  Also, you should have insect repellent in that beach bag as any wind direction with "West" in it could carry those biting green-head flies. Preparedness people!
