Tuesday Mix Of Sun And Clouds

Mornin'!  It's 42° in Wildwood NJ.  We've got partly cloudy conditions but at the same time Ms Sun's is up and shining above and under the layer of "horizon" cloud cover.  The sky on the marsh side of the island seems to be completely cloudy and the ocean side is beautifully painted with those morning pastels thanks to that lovely sunrise.  It's still windy with NW winds at 20-25mph.  We're going to have a mix of sun and clouds today with more sunshine in the early part of the day as clouds increase by this afternoon.  Temps will be in the upper 40s with NW "calmer" winds at 15-25mph.  Tonight... cloudy with periods of rain and temps down into the mid-upper 30s with S-SE winds at 5-10mph.  Chance of rain is 90% tonight.  Tomorrow... rainy and blustery with temps in the mid-upper 40s.  We might see peeks of sunshine by Thursday afternoon.

Monday Weather Mix

Mornin'!  It's 51° in Wildwood NJ.  We're under dark, starlit skies with winds out of the S-SW at 5-10mph.  I wasn't here yesterday, but I heard we hit 70°!  Today's a different story but temps will certainly still be Spring-like. It'll be a sunny start to the day, but we're going to have a mix of sun and clouds.  As clouds increase, so will the temps as we're looking at a 65° day.  As temps rise, winds will increase as well.  We're going to have a very blustery day with S-SW winds at 20-30mph +gusting (remember... it's March).  By this evening, it'll be those blustery winds along with rain (90% chance).  By overnight, the rain will be out of here as it'll remain cloudy with temps dropping to the upper 30s / low 40s as those March winds stay checked in from the West at 20-30mph.  Tomorrow... partly sunny, high around 50° and NW winds at 15-25mph.  Wednesday... more rain is on the weather menu as it's looking like a rainy hump-day.

It's The Weekend!

Today's WebCam Shot

Mornin'!  It's 33° in Wildwood NJ.  Breezes are barely there out of the SE at 2-3mph.  Ms Sun's lying in wait but has already begun painting the sky with her lovely pastels this morning.  It's cold, but lovely outside this early morn.  We're going to have a mix of sun and clouds today as the afternoon turns mostly cloudy with temps in the upper 40s.  Those SE winds will be staying checked in throughout the day and by this afternoon be 10-15mph.  Tonight... cloudy with temps in the mid-40s with Southerly winds at 10-20mph and 15% chance of rains showers.  Tomorrow... mostly cloudy and windy.  There's 20% chance of rain showers tomorrow with gusty winds throughout the day... S-SW at 20-30mph +gusting.  We should see peeks of sun by the afternoon (regardless of the winds) as tomorrow's temps could get into the mid-60s.  I'm taking tomorrow off for a babysitting gig. Sunny Day On Tap

Mornin'!  It's 25° in Wildwood NJ.  The sky is clear with not a cloud in sight as Ms Sun's about to cross the horizon and begin shining over the island.  Breezes are out of the N-NE at 8-10mph making it feel like 13° as Winter still has us in its grasp.  Baby, it's cold outside!!!  Expect a little bit of a warm-up with plenty of sunshine today, temps in the mid-upper 30s and NE winds shifting from the South at 10-15mph.  Tonight... a little cloud cover early giving way to cloudy skies late.  Temps will be around 33° with winds light and variable.  Tomorrow... mostly cloudy, high of 50° and SE winds at 10-15mph.  Sunday... cloudy and very blustery with temps tapping 60°.

A Little Of This And That Today

Mornin'!  It's 47° in Wildwood NJ.  We're under left over cloud cover from the early morning rain and wind system that blew through.  We could still have a sprinkling of showers from these dark, ominous clouds but Ms Sun has been coloring the sky as she's up and trying to do her thing.  There is a 30% chance of rain this morning before 9am.  Winds were howling but have simmered down. They're currently out of the NW at 10-15mph.  Expect a cloudy start as the day gradually becomes partly sunny by this afternoon with temps near 50°.  Those NW winds will be ramping up at 20-25mph. Always remember... it's "March" (the very windy month).  Tonight... mostly clear and much colder as temps drop to the low-20s!  Winds will be out of the North at 10-15mph gusting as high as 25mph to give us that ol' windchill.  Tomorrow... plentiful sunshine with temps in the upper 30s and SE winds at 5-10mph. The weekend's looking still mostly cloudy with Saturday's temps in the low-50s and Sunday's near 60° and the windier day.  Seems to be always about the wind in March.  Note this morning's webcam shot from North Wildwood's 5th Avenue boat ramp focused on the wetlands/marsh grass almost covered in water from the high tides.

New Moon Ash Wednesday

Mornin'!  It's 41° in Wildwood NJ.  We're under some colorful, picturesque cloud cover along the horizon.  Ms Sun's due up an moment. Breezes are very light out of the N-NW at 4-6mph.  It'll be a partly sunny day with a high of 51°.  Winds will be out of the West at 5-10mph.  Tonight... partly clear with some clouds in the mix and a low of 43° with S-SW winds at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow... intervals of clouds and sunshine, temps around 47° and NW winds at 10-20mph.  It's the New Moon today as those high tides will be much higher than normal.  As for this weekend, Saturday and Sunday look like cloudy days with Saturday's temps in the upper 40s and Sunday's almost tapping 60° as well as being blustery.

First Of March - Mardi Gras - Spring (In Meteorological Terms)

Mornin'!  Happy Mardi Gras!  Happy March!  Happy Spring!  It's 37° in Wildwood  NJ.  Ms Sun's been up and shining through some hazy cloud cover this morning. Breezes are currently out of the SE at 7-10mph. Spring really isn't until March 20th but all the weather meteorologists call March 1st their first day of Spring. It isn't official until that Spring Equinox which is when the Sun crosses the Equator line on to the North side a little later this month.  For today's first day of March, expect a mix of sun and clouds (hazy sky) with a high near 50° and Southerly winds at 10-20mph.  Tonight... clearer with a few clouds in the sky and temps near 40° with W-SW winds at 10-15mph.  Tomorrow... mostly sunny, high near 50° and West winds at 5-10mph.  The new moon is tomorrow (I actually thought it was today) but those high tides have been super high as of late.  Be aware of those low-lying areas on the island that could get some seeping high tide waters.  In honor of Mardi Gras, I've got the beads, shrimp po-boys for dinner and king cake for dessert!
