Another Keeper

Mornin'!  It's 72° in Wildwood NJ.  Ms Sun's up and we still have a hazy sky that she's trying to shine through.  It's subdued sunshine.  Winds are light out of the SW at 5-10mph.  It's a beautiful start to the day.  I failed to mention yesterday that it was the anniversary of moving to Wildwood some 21 years ago on a lovely June day.  I'd have to say that it's been some of the best years of my life living here. June's been lovely every day this week too just to note.  All my windows are open, birds are chirping, grocery shopping was just completed and hubby's whistling as he skins the chicken thighs.  It's somewhat the beginning of "high" season and grocery shopping must be done as early as possible to avoid major congestion in the grocery isles not to mention somewhat empty shelves.  I won't mention the price gouging this time of year.  Anyway... that's why the "late" blog.

Mornin'!  It's 64° in Wildwood NJ.  Ms Sun's up and currently in a hazy, smoky sky.  I'm assuming that it's smoke from the Canadian wildfires which has reached our shores.  It's sunny without clouds and as hazy as you can get.  Then, throw in the smell of something burning and you got wildfire aftermath. Winds are light out of the S-SW at 4-6mph.  It'll be sunny but hazy today with temps in the mid-70s and S-SW winds at 10-20mph.  Tonight... clear, temps down to where they are now (mid-60s) and S-SW winds at 10-20mph.  Tomorrow... intervals of sun and clouds to kick off Thursday becoming more cloudy in the afternoon, temps in the mid-70s with S-SW winds at 10-20mph.  Tomorrow night... partly cloudy, temps in the mid-60s and S-SW winds at 10-15mph.  Friday... intervals of sun and clouds, temps in the low-70s and Southerly breezes at 10-15mph.  Friday night... partly cloudy,  temps in the low-60s and SE breezes at 5-10mph.   As for this coming weekend... Mornin'!  It's 55° in Wildwood NJ.  Ms Sun's up and is coping with some thick hazy cloud cover that's right in front of her.  We've got sunshine this morning but it's not as bright as it could be.  Winds are light out of the N-NW at 5-8mph.  Once these clouds check out, we'll have plentiful sunshine today with temps around 70° and W-NW winds at 5-10mph.  Tonight... partly cloudy, temps in the upper 50s and SW winds at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow... another sunny day with temps in the low-70s and S-SW winds at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow night... clear skies, temps around 60° and Southerly winds at 5-10mph.  Wednesday... another sunny one with temps around 70° and a bit more blustery with winds out of the South at 10-20mph.  Thursday... another sunny one with temps in the low-mid 70s and S-SW winds at 10-15mph.  Friday... a mix of sun and clouds with temps in the low-mid 70s.  Saturday... 50% chance of rain.

June's Arrived

Mornin'! Welcome June!  She's bringing some bright sunny days to kick off this new month. 
It's 54° in Wildwood NJ.  Ms Sun's shining through some hazy sky.  Winds are out of the West at 10-15mph.  It's feeling crisp outside and almost like an autumn morning.  Yet, summer's 20 days away.  
It'll be a sunny start to the month, week and day.  Expect plentiful sunshine with some of those milky clouds this afternoon, temps will be in the low-70s with West winds on the blustery side at 10-20mph.  Tonight... partly cloudy, temps in the mid-upper 50s and SW winds at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow... sunny, temps in the low-70s and NW winds at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow night... clear, temps in the upper 50s and SW winds at 5-10mph.  Tuesday... sunny, temps in the upper 70s and West winds at 5-10mph.  Tuesday night... clear, temps in the low-60s and winds out of the S-SW at 5-10mph.  The rest of the week looks like sunshine on the weather menu at least up until Saturday.  But, I'm one to not go that far out as Saturday is forecasted as a washout.  But that remains to be seen.  For now... the focus is on the lovely start to June along with a couple warm days (Wednesday and Thursday).  Oh... it is the start to Hurricane Season as I'd be remiss if I didn't throw out that reminder.  The season lasts until November 30th.  June's Full Moon is on the 11th by the way.
