Mornin'! It's 27° in Wildwood as the rain pours down and the tides swell around our homes. High tide (ocean) is around 5a.m. and High tide (bay) is around 6:30-7a.m. depending where you are on the island. Take caution and do everything to avoid driving through the flood water as it's salt water and can do major damage to the underside of vehicles. Heavy cloud cover, fog, loud angry ocean, pouring rain, is all happening as I type away in the darkness. Sunrise is in about an hour, but we won't be seeing much sun today. Well...at least not until sunset when the storm is out of here. Temps will rise into the 40's today as the soaking rains continue. Thankfully, Wildwood will miss the ice/sleet/snow as the storm heads north and west of us. Winds will continue out of the E-NE at 10-20mph through most of the day and rains should stop by dinner time. Official tides...high tide:6:19p.m.; low tide:12:22p.m.; ocean temp: 35°.

"When it rains, it pours". Get that Morton salt girl out there for Thursday night. What is this? Some kind of infamous winter?
This is called "global warming". Didn't you read the omens from Gore?
The only Gore Vidal quote I know is "Andy Warhol is the only genius I've ever known with an I.Q. of 60"
Gore Vidal? Jim, you crack me up! Foggy harbor shot is one of my all-time faves, love it! We need more fog and less snow!
Gore Vidal quote of the day: "Whenever a friend succeeds, a little something in me dies."
Foggy Harbor Shot: Isn't he one of Snooki's friends?
[or a good name for a drink]
LOVE the Foggy Harbor Shot drink - let's see,... what ingredients to include... I think Deb would know
