Abundant breezes and sunshine

Mornin'!  It's 69° in Wildwood.  It's clear.  It's sunny.  It's windy.  It's gonna be another windy one as breezes are the main attraction again today...out of the NE 15-25mph +gusting.  It's amazing what the winds will do.  For one, the house is full of lovely sea air with all the windows open as well as doing a nice pruning to my trees but the ocean looks incredible with the waves being pushed by those NE breezes...white caps as far as the eye can see!  Seems like the winds are a magnet for the sailboats too as there were quite a few out in the ocean yesterday.   Not great surfing waves but some major rough water play. Ok...so today will be pretty much a repeat of yesterday except the clouds will be mostly outta here.  The sky is clear as Ms Sun's checked in for a couple days.   Temps will be in the mid-70's.  Tonight...clear with temps back into the low-60s as the winds calm down.

Just heard...A 6.0 magnitude earthquake woke up our west neighbors living in northern California this morning. The earthquake's epicenter was located about six miles south-southwest of Napa and 51 miles west-southwest of Sacramento about 3:20 a.m. local time (6:20a.m. eastern time), according to the U.S. Geological Survey. It's the largest tremor to shake the Bay Area since the 1989 6.9 magnitude Loma Prieta quake, the USGS told the Associated Press. There was no immediate report of injuries.
