Rip Currents due to check in today!

Mornin'!  It's 71° this cloudy morn.  There's more of those sunrise clouds today blocking the sun's grand entrance this early morn.  Have no fear as it'll be a lovely day once Ms Sun burns off the grayness.  It'll be mostly to partly sunny today with light and variable breezes (NW to SE at 3-5mph).  Temps will just about tap 80° with more than a touch of humidity thrown in.  Tonight...light breezes with temps back into the low-70s.  Looking like some rain tomorrow (40% chance).  One important thing to note as Hurricane Bertha heads North (in the Atlantic Ocean) is that Wildwood's shoreline will be impacted by bigger swells in our surf.  By this afternoon and into the evening, Bertha will be impacting our coast by bigger wave action and of course rip currents.  Dip carefully and pay close attention to the lifeguards.  If you intend to dip after 5:30p.m. (everyone out of the water as the lifeguards are officially off duty for the day then), you're taking a major risk swimming unguarded and facing those rip currents alone.
High tide:3:36p.m.
Low tide:9:01a.m.
