Perfect Tuesday (and thank goodness it's no longer Monday)

Mornin'!  It's 71° in Wildwood NJ.  It's mild and clear and still (no breezes) and fragrant (aroma of the sea) and a little noisy (seagulls laughing all over the neighborhood).  A lovely morn for sure.  It'll be another nice one today as we'll have abundant sunshine (less clouds than yesterday) with breezes out of the E-SE at 6-7mph and temps in the low-mid 80s.  Tonight...clouds roll in and we'll have 50% chance of thunderstorms.  Temps will be in the low-mid 70s and breezes will be out of the S-SE at 11-17mph.  At this point, the weekend's looking like another 50-50 one with some unsettled weather.  However, the majority of forecasts I've researched are saying that it's looking a-ok.  Oh, and it's that time again for the Perseids Meteor Showers and we're supposed to have a better than usual 2-week viewing period.  Beginning around the 11th of August, this year's display of meteors could be as much as 200 meteors (shooting stars) per hour.  You need a few things to be in place in order to view them successfully...clear, dark skies and very late night (midnight or later).  Best places to view...Delaware Bay shore and the Pinelands.  It's tough here as there's so much light pollution...motels, boardwalk lights, street lights, vehicle lights etc.  And, don't forget the most important thing...a completely clear, cloudless and starlit night!
