We're In The Clear

Mornin'!  It's 35° in Wildwood NJ.  We're under thick cloud cover as Ms Sun rises.  It's still windy (nothing like it was) out of the N-NW at 20-25mph w/gusting.  We've got about an inch of the white stuff on roofs, vehicles, lawns etc.  The sidewalks and streets all appear clear.  I guess March has a few attributes...keeping the ground warmer than February.  My guess is there will be no white stuff left by dinner time.  The salty/briny surfaces on the island help provide a quicker meltdown too.  I saw on the Weather channel yesterday that the sun's rays are as strong as October's rays so meltdown-is-a-coming!  We didn't have any flooding or any more wind damage.  By later this morning, Ms Sun will break on through as the temps climb up into the low-mid 40s.  The winds are staying checked in (albeit a little calmer than Storm Toby gave us) N-NW at 20-25mph.  Tonight...temps back down into the low-mid 30s with clear skies and winds out of the NW at 15-20mph.  Tomorrow looks much like today with the March winds simmered down just a bit more.  We may even see sunshine until the end of next week as March begins to pack it in!
