St. Patrick's Day - New Moon

Top of thee mornin' to ye! Happy St. Patrick's Day!  It's 33° in Wildwood NJ.  March is giving us a break on the breeze this morning as it's officially 3-4mph out of the West.  It's pretty much still with starlit skies and briny aromas from the marsh and ocean.  It doesn't even feel that cold out there...just crisp and clean (that is if you consider "briny" clean).  It's great out there.  The aroma in my house is pretty nice too as I'm baking an Irish soda bread (recipe below). I bake a loaf every year on St. Patty's day.  It makes a very nice accompaniment to the corned beef, cabbage, and potatoes that are on the menu for dinner.  For some reason, it's the only day of the year this meal in on my dinner menu.  Anyway...it'll be fairly nice weather for the St. Patty's Day Parade in North Wildwood kicking off at 11:30a.m. on Atlantic Avenue at City Hall and making its way North to Olde New Jersey Ave. as it'll be partly sunny with clouds filtering in later in the day as temps get into the low 40s.  Breezes will be somewhat gentle...Westerly at 13-15mph.  Tonight...clouds will drift on out as it'll be clear with temps in the low-mid 30s and N-NW breezes at 11-14mph.  Tomorrow and Monday...more of the same.  But, not so much on Tuesday as yep...you guessed it...our 4th Nor'easter this ol' month of March is planning on checking in.  Expect the usual...moisture (rain showers / snow showers), winds and raw, cold temps and again hopefully no snow accumulation as we've been missing the bullet on snowfall these past March storms thankfully.
