Gray TGIF

Mornin'!  It's 43° in Wildwood NJ.  We're under heavy, gray cloud cover with amazing breezes off the ocean (S-SE) at 10-13mph.  I immediately could smell the sea and could hear the surf pounding the coast from 6+ blocks away. What a start to the day treat! Grateful for that.  The sky is brightening but not sure how Ms Sun's going to make it through the gray denseness this morning as she tries to provide her disposition and warmth.  Only one forecast said expect peeks of sun around mid-day. Otherwise, it looks like it'll be dry (no rain) throughout the day but with the forecasted blustery, cloudy conditions. I'd expect a "sloughing" kind of day...a spa day due to the winds out of the S-SW at 25-35mph +gusting and the moist winds...mother nature facials for everyone. And, if you really want the real deal...go on the beach as the sand mixes with the moisture pelting those pores.  One forecaster reported 5% chance of precipitation whatever that is.  Temps will be in the low-mid 50s (not that shabby).  Tonight...clouds and winds (S-SW 20-25mph) still checked in as temps head back down into the mid-upper 30s.  Rain begins on the overnight.  Tomorrow...rain here along the coast as I hear "snow" for the mainland.  Whew...missed that bullet but it'll be cold...mid-upper 40s.  Thank God for salt air as it never fails to keep that ol' snowmaker at bay (no pun intended).  For sure it'll be day 2 for the homemade Minestrone by the way...grateful for that deliciousness.  Happy Friday!
