More Of The Same

Mornin'!  It's 74° in Wildwood NJ.  I'm grateful for the air conditioner as it's very muggy down the Shore.  Humidity's 91% and Dewpoint is 73°.  It's almost clear (some clouds helping make daybreak prettier than usual). It's breezy (S-SE 17-23mph). It all hits you immediately when stepping outside.  It's a bit early for brewing coffee but it's happening.  Some mornings the ol' body wakes extra early needing no more rest.  For today's weather, it'll be pretty much a repeat of yesterday.  Muggy and humid, partly Sunny / partly cloudy as temps just about tap 80° and there's a 20-30% chance of showers and/or thunderstorms.  The breezes don't intend on checking out yet as they'll be here all day into the night from the S-SE at 17-23mph.  Tonight...partly cloudy with temps in the low-mid 70s and breezes out of the S-SE at 15-20mph, 30-40% chance of rain showers or thunder boomers.  Very risky rip current warnings are still in effect...check with lifeguards before entering the surf.  Wave action...5'-8'.  Always swim near a lifeguard, never alone and never at night.  If caught in a rip current (ocean's grasp of you), try to relax and float (easy for me to say).  Don't waste your time trying to swim out of the current...float it out until it releases you (it will eventually release you), then swim in the direction of the shoreline until you can ride a wave in.  Speaking of waves...don't forget to wave for help (although I'm thinking that would be a natural reaction to that frightening peril).  Our lifeguards are always on it.
