The Clouds Are Assembling

Throwback Thursday - Wildwood Beach 1967
Mom and Grandmom getting their beach day on
Mornin'!  It's 41° in Wildwood NJ.  It's dark.  At the moment we're under partial cloud cover but I could clearly see the stars in the gaps around the cloud formations.  The sky is so black that the clouds almost look white even before dawn arrives.  Unlike yesterday morning there's a breeze and it's coming off the ocean at 8-10mph.  The burst of sea air hits immediately (putting a smile on my face of course as I suck it up for a quite a few minutes).  March has been hitting home runs so far this month ("touch wood" as I still have an untrusting eyebrow up with this very shifty month).  We're almost halfway through (and less than a week from Spring) and so far so good in the weather department.  Today will be no exception.  It won't be as sunny and feel as warm as yesterday. The temps will just about tap 50° again but with more clouds in the mix.  We'll probably see only peeks of sun today.  Winds will be out of the South at 10-15mph.  Tonight... cloudy, 48° with South winds at 14-16mph.  Tomorrow... scattered showers throughout the day and evening with temps sustaining those upper 40s / low 50s.  The weekend's looking sunny and bright with a bit cooler temps... low-mid 40s.  Ms Sun's been feeling really nice as of late and even with those cool temps... that sensation of that next "warm" season coming in seems to come and go more often than not.
