Calm After The Storm

Wildwood's Boardwalk Damage
Mornin'!  It's 49° in Wildwood NJ.  Ms Sun's trying to break on through some coastal cloud cover.  At the moment, I have sunshine pouring into my house.  Speaking of house... mine is still standing after yesterday's wind-driven storm.  Gusts were as high as 85mph! There was no flooding with this storm by the way.  I suffered no damage (other than my front gate loosening from the foundation post).  It was incredibly scary as debris and destruction was happening all around me as well as up and down the Coast.
It's a whole different can of worms this morning as breezes are out of the N-NW at 8-12mph.  The birds are chirping again.  The fragrance of the calmer sea is in the air.  And, life is in a sense back to normal.
Expect sunshine this morning with increasing clouds this afternoon.  Temps will be in the low-mid 50s with N-NW breezes at 10-15mph turning from the S-SW at 6-9mph.  Tonight... Mostly cloudy with 80% chance of rain developing after midnight.  Temps will drop into the low-40s with S-SW winds at 10-15mph.  Tomorrow... gray start with 60% chance of rain in the morning and Ms Sun peeking in my the afternoon.  Temps will get into the 50s again as breezes ramp up a bit out of the NW at 10-20mph.
