Earth Day

The Jersey Cape - Obtained from a NASA shot
Mornin'!  Happy Earth Day! It's 40°, sunny and blustery (W-NW 18-23mph).  We'll get into the mid-50s today with a mix of clouds and sunshine.  Winds will be out of the W-NW at 20-30mph +gusting with higher gusts possible.  Tonight... clear to partly cloudy.  Temps back down into the low-40s with those W-NW winds at 10-20mph +gusting.  Tomorrow... starts out cloudy turning to a rainy, windy day (80% chance) with temps hitting 60°.  It's the "New Moon" today so tides will be a bit swollen.  If you see any trash lying on this beautiful earth of ours... time to take that trash can/bag in hand and clean up what's strewn around.  And, there's always lots to clean up here on the island thanks to some of those clueless earth inhabitants.  Today's photo is taken from a NASA shot showing our Cape both the Atlantic ocean and Delaware bay side with all the wetlands and marsh in between.  The shot encaptures the atlantic coast on the right with the very top section being the southern tip of Ocean City, then heading south... Sea Isle City, Avalon, Stone Harbor, Wildwood and Cape May (southernmost end).  On the left (bay side) is Del Haven, Town Bank, The Villas, and North Cape May.
