Super Moon Tuesday

Wildwood Boardwalk - A Summer Afternoon in 2019
Mornin'!  It's 49° in Wildwood NJ. It's Super Moon day but we'll probably not see much of it with the cloud cover on tap for today and tonight.  It's gray with very light breezes out of the NE at 2-3mph.  It's still and quiet outside except for those island birds.  They're doing their thing and expression "springtime" in a very big way.  Lots of chirping out there.  I can hear the faint sounds of the surf crashing the shore (6+blocks away).  It's going to be a mostly gray one today with peeks of sun and temps in the mid-upper 50s and S-SE breezes at 10-15mph with 20% chance of rain.  Tonight... still cloudy with 80% chance of rain and even thunderstorms (a few could be severe) as temps drop into the upper 40s / low 50s.  Winds will shift just a bit out of the S-SW at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow... it's looking like Ms Sun could be sandwiched between a gray, wet morning and a gray wet evening.  We'll probably see her shining between late morning and late afternoon.
So, I knew this day was coming.  I've been saying it ("It's just a matter of time") since the beach and boardwalk closed in Ocean City NJ on March 25th, all the beaches up and down our coastal areas have been doing the same.  And, the time has come for our little coastal island.  As of tomorrow... April 8th, The Wildwoods (North Wildwood, Wildwood, and Wildwood Crest) will be closing their beach, boardwalk, seawall and bike paths.  Sunbathing, sitting in chairs, lying on blankets, organized sports and groups on the beach are prohibited until May 1st.  However, you may walk, jog, fish, and surf on the beaches. North Wildwood did post that you can walk their seawall or bike on their bike path before 8am only.  Reminder about today's Full Moon much higher tides... move your vehicles to higher ground if you hear those flood sirens and don't drive through damaging, corrosive tide waters.

In 40+ years, I've never seen the Atlantic City Boardwalk as crowded as pictured. Wow!
