Stay Out Of The Water!

Mornin'!  It's 71° in Wildwood NJ.  Humidity's 91% with a dewpoint of 71°.  It's raining at the moment and that might have something to do with all that moisture in the stats.  Here's a statistic... "winds"... they're out of the NE at 20-25mph.  It's a pretty nasty morning.  And, doesn't look like a nice day up ahead.  Expect rain today (100% chance) with temps in the low-mid 70s and winds out of the NE at 20-30mph.  Tonight... much cooler with clouds and a shower or two possible (25% chance), low of 66° and winds out of the North at 10-20mph.  There's a "High Rip Current Risk" and "Coastal Flood Advisory" posted until this evening.  Those rip currents are nothing to challenge or risk as most beaches will be posting "Closed" signs and I'm not sure if lifeguards will be manning the beaches at each street like the norm.  These currents are extremely dangerous if entering the surf.  The ocean is fun to watch during these times though.  The "new" moon is tuesday and could have an impact on raising the water levels a bit.  Thus, the flood advisory.  And, high tide is an hour later on the back side of the island (wetlands, marshes etc) than the ocean's high tide. As for flooding on the island... keep watch of the high tides and where you park your vehicle. Tomorrow... ahhhh, a nice one as it'll be sunny and calmer with a high of 78° with winds out of the West at 5-10mph.
