Mornin'! It's 77° in Wildwood NJ. Humidity's 71% with a dewpoint of 61°. Winds are out of the W-SW at 10-15mph. We've got some cloud cover but Ms Sun is up and doing whatever she can to shine on through! It's looking like a partly sunny, hazy day with a stray shower or thunderstorm possible (20% chance). It'll be warm today with a high near 90° and West winds at 10-20mph. Tonight... mostly cloudy becoming partly cloudy with temps around where they are now... mid-70s and West winds at 10-20mph. Tomorrow... intervals of sun and clouds with a high of 87° and West winds at 10-15mph. Don't forget about those "West" winds... they bring the biting greenhead flies. Keep that insect repellent in your beach bag. I visited the beach yesterday with West winds and those flies were on the attack! Speaking of "attack"... Hurricane Laura has hit the south coast in the Gulf making landfall in Lake Charles Louisiana at record power... 150mph winds when it came ashore! She's one of the most powerful storms hitting our shores in recorded history! Prayers for all those in its path! Oh... I almost forgot, the weekend's still holding at Saturday being "wet" and Sunday being sunny albeit breezy.
